Which bus route goes to Caltrain from San Mateo/foster city area during Fourth of July and weekend?

I’m staying at Homestead Suites this Fourth of July weekend. (Gateway Dr, Foster City, CA…5 miles east of Hillsdale shopping center) and I noticed that bus route 251 gets the closest, but it doesn’t run on holidays or Sundays…Is there another bus? or are there lots of taxis at one of the closest Caltrain stations?

    You picked a lousy place to stay (for someone without a rental car). As a service primarily geared towards commuters, SamTrans isn’t really a good option on Sundays and holidays. Normally, you’d take either 250 or 251, but neither operates on statutory holidays.

    I’d just take a cab. Bring a cell phone though. Cabs don’t roam around in the suburbs and they’ve been removing pay phones throughout the state.
