I just moved to Orange County California and would like to know what time fireworks usually start cus I am planning to go to the beach to watch fireworks w/ friends. Also, is it dangerous to watch fireworks on the beach? And any good ideas for any group games we can play on the beach? Thx. C:

    i live by the beach as well, we usually have professional fireworks display just after sunset around 730p.m., while fireworks that are sold to the public can be lit any time of the day or night (depending on your local laws). games to play while waiting, bury your friend in the sand, cook burgers & hotdogs, eat, maybe play a trivia game or just enjoy the beautiful sunset. enjoy!-blurey

    The majority of shows start at 9 p.m. Check the daily newspaper, such as the Orange County Register, each day over the next few days, to find out the locations and times of the shows.
