Should I stay home with baby on fourth of july?
July 25th, 2008 | by The Patriot |My sister’s on a business trip to Cali & and I have to watch her 7 month old daughter. She’s gonna be there for a week. And I’m spending 4th of July with the baby! I’m going to this kind of firework show thing in the park that night and I was wondering if I should take her. Will she go crazy if she hears the firecrackers?

It really depends on the child’s temperment, but most 7 month olds would be irritated by the noise.

Umm…Yeah.
babies aren’t so big on the loud noises of fireworks that literally tear through the sky.
I bet she will scream her head off the whole time, regardless of whether you permanently damage her hearing or not.

My daughter was about 4 months old for her first 4th of july. She slept through it. The following year, she cried through it and I had to take her home. You could try it, but be prepared to have to leave.

No, u can take the baby with you to see the fireworks, just dont sit real close to them, which im sure you wont anyways, but, the baby will be fine!

why not sit further away so the sound isn’t as loud, but you can still see them?

Usually little ones don’t react well to that much noise, may be a good idea to skip on it this year…or hang as far back as possible.

I think she is too young. She probably wouldn’t comprehend what was going on and would be upset by the noise. Plus, if she starts crying, she may annoy those around you.

I wouldn’t expose a 7 month old to the noise or to the crowds. Use your head!

You can always go, and if she doesn’t like it, take her home. It’s worth a try!

you must not take her with you for the following
1- you want to enjoy your time not taking care of her and you will be angry if you retrun to home because of her crying
2- she is just a baby and you must not bother her by noise
it is not good for her health and mind
therefore try to find someone to take care of her or find a nother way to enjoy your time

I am taking my four month old this year, I don’t know how it is gonna turn out , if she doesn’t like the firework part I will take her inside and watch from a window. I think it is a great idea to take her, babies looove to be outside and it is good for them.
