    hamburgers, hot dogs, potatoe salad, deviled eggs, brownies. watch the food network channel. they might have shows on the forth of july. you can get ideas from there. also try food.com.

    Dinner-Grilled Hotdogs,Hamburger Patties, Grilled Corn on the Cob,Baked Beans,and Coleslaw.
    Dessert-Homemade Fruit Parfait:Plain Yogurt,Sliced Strawberries, Seedless Grapes(all colors),Blueberries,Whipped Cream and Granola Bars (crushed)

    I would recommend all BAR-B-Q food!!!! Hotdogs…homemade hamburgers…wine…or beer…ice cream…corn..beans…and a homemade cake! yum…a nice fourth of july dinner…seems summery and easy food…this is perfect…maybe even barbequing together…. God Bless America…we need it.!!!!!

    Grill outside some hotdogs and french fries and burgers and thing like that but, there is a chance of rain.

    4TH OF JULY PIE

    1 pkg. sugar cookie dough or prepared graham cracker crust
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. orange juice
    3 c. fresh strawberries, halved
    3 c. fresh blueberries
    1/4 c. lemon juice

    Press cookie dough into 9″ pie pan. Bake 8 minutes in 400 degree oven. Cool (or have graham cracker crust ready).
    In saucepan, mix sugar and cornstarch. Stir in orange juice until smooth. Bring to a boil for 1 minute over medium heat. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice. Mix 1/2 juice with strawberries and the other 1/2 with blueberries. Spoon strawberries on outside and blueberries in the center. Chill 4 hours. Serve with whipped cream.

    4TH OF JULY BAKED BEANS

    1 can each: red kidney beans, lima beans, butter beans, drained
    1 can pork and beans (do not drain)
    1 lb. ground beef
    6 slices bacon (cut in pieces) and
    1 med. onion chopped, drained
    1/2 c. ketchup
    2 tbsp. molasses
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard

    Brown beef in skillet with bacon and onion. Add ketchup, molasses, brown sugar and dry mustard. Mix with beans and bake 1 1/2 hour, (not more) at 350 degrees. Covered for 1 hour. Or use crock pot set on low for 6 hours.

    4TH OF JULY SALAD OR SALAD BARS

    2 pkgs. Pillsbury crescent rolls
    12 oz. cream cheese
    3/4 c. salad dressing (Miracle Whip)
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. dill weed
    Small bits of broccoli, onion, tiny carrots, sliced, radishes, sliced,
    Celery and cauliflower

    Press crescent rolls out in jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool well! Mix cream cheese, salad dressing, salt and dill weed and spread over baked, cooled rolls. Top with vegetables.

    4TH OF JULY SIRLOIN

    2 lb. sirloin

    MARINADE:

    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    1 tbsp. fresh minced ginger
    1 tbsp. minced garlic
    2 tbsp. chopped cilantro
    Freshly ground black pepper

    Mix marinade in a bowl. Cut sirloin into chunk-size pieces and add to marinade, toss to coat and cover bowl. Refrigerate overnight until ready to cook. Cook over charcoal or place meat 4 inches from heat. Broil 3-4 minutes on each side, brushing with marinade. Turn once for medium rare. Serves 4.

    fried chicken, potato salad, watermelon, corn on the cob, rhubarb pie, berry pies, home made ice cream, hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken instead of fried, lots of relatives and friends, potluck, fun.
